At the International Conference of Girls' Brigade held in 1998 in Brisbane the structure of Girls' Brigade International was changed to encourage greater Regional direction and growth in Brigade in each of the five world fellowships -
Africa, Asia, Caribbean/Americas, Europe and Pacific.
These Fellowships are led by their Chairman, who is an International Vice President, who together with the International President, International Secretary and Treasurer form the President's Committee which meets annually.

Brigade continues to be a closely knit worldwide organisation with a common AIM, MOTTO, PRINCIPLES and CREST.
Personnel are elected every four years at the International Conference of Girls' Brigade (I.C.G.B.) to fill International positions.
Since Girls' Brigade(Ireland) Girls' Guildry(Scotland) and Girls' Life Brigade (England )combined to form one world wide organisation The Girls' Brigade
