CADETS
The Cadet Star - the star symbolises the star that led the wise men to find Jesus.
Cadets are just starting their journey through life and as they work for this award they too can find Jesus.
On the completion of the required work the Cadets gain their Award.
The three coloured Star Awards that can be earnt in the following order are:
BLUE, RED, GOLD
A Cadet would normally complete a Star within a Cadet year.
BRIGADE KNOWLEDGE must be completed before a Cadet can gain her second award.
JUNIORS
Juniors can earn four Circles. The symbols for these four awards signify the Motto
SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW CHRIST.
BLUE - SEEK
GREEN - SEEK, SERVE
RED - SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW
GOLD - SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW CHRIST
For each Award a girl must do one achievement from each aspect of the Programme - Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Social. Usually one Award per year, starting with Blue and working through to Gold.
BRIGADE KNOWLEDGE which can be counted as a Spiritual Achievement must be completed before a girl can earn her second circle (Green) award
SENIORS
Seniors work for two rectangles the symbol of which is SERVING HANDS.
RED
GOLD
Each Achievement has 3 sections, Basic, Spiritual and Additional activties.
To gain each award a girl must have at least one achievement from each aspect:
EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, PHYSICAL
BRIGADE KNOWLEDGE must be completed before she can gain her second award.
PIONEERS
Pioneers work for four Triangle the symbol of which is CHRIST THE KING.
They are earned in the following order:
BLUE
GREEN
RED
GOLD
Each achievement is divided into 3 aspects SKILLS, SERVICE, SPIRITUAL.
A minimum of 20 hours must be completed to receive one Triangle.
A girl may earn a maximum of two triangles in any 12 month period.
BRIGADE KNOWLEDGE must be completed before the second (ie Green Triangle) Award is gained.
