Special Awards and Awards for Leaders

ENDURANCE AWARD
This award may be awarded to a member who has endured prolonged illness, who may have had lengthy stays in hospital, have had to undergo repeated surgery or other complex medical treatment or who face life with a physical and/or intellectual disability.
The placement of this badge on the girls’ uniform is above the crest (on the pocket) to the left, the bottom of the medal to reach the top of the pocket.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE MEDAL
This is awarded to a girl for saving a life.
There are two degrees for this Award:
1st Degree when a girl saves life at risk to her own life.
2nd Degree when a girl saves life without risk to her own.
The placement of this badge on the girls’ uniform is above the crest (on the pocket) to the left, the bottom of the medal to reach the top of the pocket.

 SERVICE AWARDS FOR LEADERS

This Award for Commissioned Leaders is granted at five (5) yearly intervals, commencing after the completion of five years active service as a Leader, at any level in Brigade (Company, Divisional, State or National).
The Award (badge) is worn on the right hand collar of the blouse.
A Certificate is also available stating the number of years of service.
